Lightly salted and matured over a minimum 14 day period, the cheese develops its soft, slightly crumbly texture with a sweet piquant flavour. With a special place in Shepherds Purse history Mrs Bells Salad Cheese is adapted from an ancient Feta recipe. Available in a 700g half round or now our new smaller promotional pack of 150g!

The maturation period allows the lavender flavours to infuse through the cheese. The result is a delicate fragrant taste combining with the meadow sweetness of the ewe's milk cheese. Available in a 700g half round.

It's texture allows you to slice from the fridge or it becomes spreadable once you allow it to warm to room temperature. This traditional cheese is made and waxed by hand on the family run farm at Shepherds Purse. Available in a 150g mini waxed truckle.

The meadow sweetness of the ewe's milk contrasts with the saltiness of the cheese to deliver a rich and complex blue flavour.
